I just got my roof done by TEC and thanks to project manager DARYL BRUBAKER, This process went smooth and easy. He was there helping my wife and I thru everything. To helping us filing the claim and making time to meet the adjuster even in his busy schedule making it easy for my wife and I to not stress about anything. I definitely recommend TEC for any job you need done to your house, (ROOF, SIDING etc.) and once again ask for DARYL BRUBAKER🤝 My wife and I are truly happy with the results...Happy Wife Happy Life🙏🏼

Recently had our roof, gutters, and downspouts replaced by TEC and project manager Daryl Brubaker. The entire process was incredibly smooth and efficient. Daryl walked us through the insurance claim process and met with their adjuster in person to answer any questions. Aside from the deductible, we paid a reasonable out-of-pocket to include all of our gutters and downspouts and upgrade to black. Daryl shared samples and completion photos of many projects to help us make selections. Would highly recommend!

I recently had some damage to the roof of my home from the weather. My insurance company sent out a third party to inspect the roof and send back information to my insurance claim representative. I had met Nick of The Exterior Company days before while he was doing an estimate on my neighbors roof because he also had damage. When I shared my concerns with Nick regarding how my insurance company was handling the inspection of the roof he was very willing to come out the day the third part inspector was here and go up with him to make sure that nothing was missed concerning the damage. After my insurance company approved the claim I had some difficulty understanding the claim brief that was telling me what was being covered. Nick was able to explain the claim brief so I understood what was being covered and how it was being covered. The Exterior Company got me on their schedule and got my roof replaced in a timely manner so I did not suffer any further loss or damage. NIck kept me updated on the day the work would be done. He took my concern seriously of where the dumpster would be placed so as not to damage my property. He made sure I was comfortable with every step of the process to replace my roof. He also kept me up to date with texts the day my roof was being replaced. He took care of me like I was family. I would highly recommend The Exterior Company to anyone that has any work or repairs to the outside of their home. They are professional, curious, reasonably priced and do quality work. TEC in Pittsburgh did an incredible job on our roof, gutters, and siding! From start to finish, our project coordinator Nate was absolutely awesome to work with. He guided my wife and me through every step of the process with professionalism, patience, and a genuine understanding of what we wanted for our home. When our insurance company initially denied the claim for a full roof replacement due to hail damage, Nate went above and beyond to help us appeal the decision. He thoroughly documented all the damage, going as far as to use a drone to get detailed aerial photos. He communicated clearly with both us and the insurance company. Thanks to his persistence and expertise, everything got approved and handled smoothly. I highly recommend TEC Roofing to anyone in the Pittsburgh area in need of roofing, gutter, or siding work. Thanks again to Nate and the entire team. We’ll definitely be reaching out to them for any future home exterior projects!

Shane Van Hovel was an excellent project supervisor and made the entire process, from initial inspection to color selection to final installation, completely seamless. He was patient, responsive, and took the time to answer all of my (many) questions. The crew worked efficiently and delivered high-quality workmanship. They handled weather delays the right way and made sure our home stayed protected and waterproof throughout the project. What really stood out was their attention to detail and care. The team went above and beyond by moving patio furniture that was in the way and even took extra care to preserve the string lights I had forgotten to remove from the gutters. Communication from Shane was clear and consistent from start to finish. While the installation was just completed and I can’t yet speak to long-term durability, the 2-year workmanship warranty provides peace of mind. I would strongly recommend TEC for roof repair or replacement.

I had a great experience with Darryl and the roofers and could not be happier with my new roof from start to finish. The process was smooth and professional. Darryl took the time to explain everything clearly answered all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way, the crew was extremely hard-working and efficient getting done with the job in one day. We wanted and needed to take the opportunity to express our deepest appreciation to Josh Jenkins, Project Manager for The Exterior Company (TEC). During that month we had vicious windstorms, topped off by yet an additional violent wind and hail storm. When Josh arrived at our home, we appreciated his knowledge, professionalism, and clear communication. Since both my wife and I are Veterans, it didn’t take long for us to realize that Josh had the quality distinctive characteristics and personality that we were familiar with. When we saw the Veteran symbol on his business card, we understood his thorough explanations, without being prompted. We also realized he has the ability to work anyone. He brought all the materials to our home to see, feel, touch and explained all the pros and cons of the materials. Josh answered all of our questions and concerns, including my concerns about our skylights. His team went right to work as soon as they arrived and finished their quality work way before I thought they would. We really appreciated their detailed efforts cleaning up the debris and protecting the landscaping and property from damage. The replacement skylights are simply beautiful. The replaced gutters and the Herringbone color make the perfect match to our new roof and our homes siding. TEC was efficient & timely. The turnaround times were quick and jobs completed within the discussed timeframe. A superior finished product with a beautiful look. Both friendly, competent, and respectful roofing and gutter crews contributed to our positive overall experience. They were fast, clean, and easy to work with. They did a great job, and were excellent communicating every step of the way. In addition, they have a very thorough warranty on their work. In summary, TEC is an excellent company in quality, service and price. We send this review with a very High Recommendation! I would strongly encourage any homeowner's in the York area that may be questioning whether they are in need of a new roof or if they have storm damage to contact Daryl Brubaker, Project Manager for TEC. I was a bit skeptical as to whether or not I had incurred damage from some recent storms but we gave Daryl an opportunity to inspect and he earned our trust very quickly in the process. He assured us that we did in fact have damage that warranted a claim and he worked with us every step of the way - filing the claim process, he was there to meet with the adjuster to give his perspective, pick the color shingles once the roof was approved, and the day of install he was there before the crew showed up and there after they cleaned up and left. He even came back out the next day just to ensure everything was put back properly and no debris was missed in the clean up. I can’t think of anything more we could have asked from him that he did not deliver in this process. Trust us, the thought of filing an insurance claim and disputing with the adjuster can sound arduous, and at times it was, but trust Daryl if he advises you to move forward with the process. It’s worth it!

I recently had my roof replaced by TEC and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Daryl, the project manager, walked me through the entire process and made everything easy from start to finish. He showed genuine care and really wanted everything to be perfect. Fernando, the site supervisor, was also great to work with and made sure everything on-site went smoothly. The day after our install, a big storm came through, and Daryl actually stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was still in great shape. He even helped me clean up some downed limbs from my driveway — that kind of personal care and attention is rare these days. During this process, a family member passed away, and Daryl and his team sent flowers to our family. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot and showed just how much TEC truly cares about their customers beyond the job itself. The crew worked hard, the cleanup was excellent, and the final result looks fantastic. Check out the cool shots they provided! If you need a new roof — or even just want to talk with Daryl about planning for the future — I can’t recommend TEC enough. They go above and beyond in every way!
